Take Time to Say Thanks!

I found this link on one of my quilting newsletters today-LetsSayThanks.com. It will send a postcard designed by a child that says thanks to a person in the military. You don't get to pick who you send it to, but you put your name and a message attached to it. I may not approve or want this stupid war we are in, but I want our children to know that we support them away from home.

Also I found this wonderful quote that I wanted to pass along:

100,000 of your brain cells die every day-make sure it's not from boredom.
-The Economist

We finally got a little rain today. A small cool front moved through. I have begun to see a few trees changing leaf color. Yep! It's a SIGN!
